Catching up

So I am way behind on making blog posts. I've been so sick and tired with this pregnancy that it's basically taken over life.

Let's see, where to start;

We had a great Thanksgiving and were able to spend it with both families. Shortly after Thanksgiving Cole hurt his back. It gradually got worse until we had to take a trip to the ER. I felt so bad for him, he was in so much pain and could barely move. Besides the back pain the swelling had pinched a nerve and was sending shooting pain down his leg and made it go numb.
After many doctor trips and a MRI they discovered he had three herniated discs. He was out of work for about a month and a half while his back healed. He was told that he will have to be really careful from now on and do back exercises. His back is doing a lot better now and he has finally got the feeling back in his leg.

We finally found out we're having boy and we're so excited to experience what a boys like. The girls are really excited and are constantly hugging, kissing and talking to my belly. Asia said one night while getting her ready for bed, "baby brother come out tonight and sleep with me, baby brother wants to sleep with me mom." It was so cute, if only it were that easy. We can't wait until we get to see our cute little boy!

Asia is finally potty trained. I have to add that to our exciting list. She was so stubborn for a week. She wouldn't even try to use the potty. It was pretty frustrating when I was changing clothes all day with no progress from her. I stuck it out and after about a week she finally decided she didn't have a choice, that I wasn't putting diapers on her anymore. So we made it through it just in time for more diapers to change.

For my birthday Cole surprised me with Jazz tickets. We had a lot of fun going to the game. It was nice to spend the weekend with just the two of us.

Ice Fishing and Snow Days

I can't believe how much snow we have gotten this year, it's been so crazy with storm after storm. The girls have had a lot of fun playing in it. Asia's favorite is eating and licking the snow.
Cole and I love going ice fishing so we tried taking the girls one time. They actually had a good time and loved being able to go sledding too. I wish I could say we caught a lot of fish but the fishing was terrible that day and I was the only one to caught a fish.

Christmas

I have so many pictures from Christmas so I had to just put them all together.

Cole's kids company Christmas party has held at the bowling alley again this year. They had bowling, pizza and Santa Clause. I wondered how Asia would do with the Santa thing this year. She really didn't want anything to do with him until I told her he would give her some candy and then she didn't want to wait her turn to get on his lap. What can I said she LOVES candy. Makynlee really got into bowling this year and had fun knocking over the pins with her dads help. Santa gave the kids gift cards to Wal-Mart so of course we had to head there after so they could pick out a toy.
The other pictures were from Christmas Eve at my Grandpa and Grandma Huntington's house. Where we did all of our traditional things; dinner, pinata, Christmas story, homemade ice cream and pjs from g'ma and g'pa.
We had an awesome Christmas this year. It was so fun watching the girls get so excited for Christmas. Santa brought the girls clothes, books and a grocery stand. The girls spend so much time playing store that it was the perfect gift. We ended up getting them both new beds, dresser, night stands and bedding.
Cole got a Wii and a gas ice auger and I got the new Canon Rebel Ti camera and camcorder. It's so nice. I love it.

Our Big News!

So many of you already know but I thought I better post it. We're excepting another baby in April. It was very unexcepted but the shock is wearing off and we're getting excited. It's my last chance for a boy so we're hoping, but will be so grateful for just a healthy baby. I have been pretty miserable. I have had ALL day sickness and have been so tired all the time. So we are barely functioning and getting by most days. I'm 4 months now and hoping the sickness is about over.
We were hoping we would have our house built before our baby came but things just haven't worked out like we hoped. We are still waiting on the land which has taken a lot longer than we had hoped. So we're looking at starting in the Spring.

Halloween 2009

Aisa as Minnie Mouse and Makynlee as a witch getting ready for the Halloween Carnival.
The girls and I getting ready to go trick-or-treating.

After we went trick-or-treating we went to my mom's where she had sugar cookies ready for them to decorate. The kids loved being able to decorate their own cookies, which they covered in candy.

Our trick-or-treating group. So glad Shandie and her cute boys and Lexie, Abbie and Sandra came with us.

Asia's 2nd Birthday

I still can't believe my baby is 2. She had her birthday on October 3 and we celebrated with our families at the Ferron Senior Citizen Center. We did a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse party since Asia is obsessed with that show. I know the pictures aren't great. Both of our camera's died so these are some snap shots from our video camera. I'll put up some better ones when I get them from his mom.

She got lot's of cute things from everyone. We gave her some clothes, a little play four wheeler and two baby bunnies. Their really cute and the girls love them.

Summer Vacation!

Yes, I know it's November and I'm writing about summer but I am so behind so I'm trying to catch up.

We started our vacation this year at Lagoon. It's been more than 7 years since I've been so I was excited to try it out again. We went with Jason and Melinda and their kids and had a really good time. I'm so glad they came with us. I was so shocked on the rides Makynlee would try. She's usually more reserved but she had a blast running from ride to ride. Asia got really bad allergies while we were there and was pretty miserable.

Riding the Lagoon Train.

Asia and Makynlee riding one of the rides.

Makynlee's favorite part of our vacations is always staying in a hotel. I'm really not sure why but she loves it. Of course we had to go swimming that next morning since we were too tired after our long day at Lagoon.

The next day we headed to the Aquarium. They had a lot of different things. It was pretty cool. We are sitting in front of the shark tank in this picture.

Cole and girls touching the Sting Ray.

You can see the shark in the background.

Cole and the girls checking out all the different kinds of cool fish.

We did a lot of camping this summer too.We bought a bigger camper this summer and have loved having the extra space. We bought it because the plan is to live in it while were building our new house. The land is taking a lot longer than we had hoped so it looks like we'll hopefully be able to start in the spring.

Fishing at Ferron Reservoir. We caught a lot of fish that day and had to leave when we used all the worms.
One of our camping trips was with my family. We went up Huntington Canyon. The kids had a blast playing in the dirt as you can tell.
Jayde and Asia loving on Layla.
Parker, Jayde, Asia and Ryker showing off their dirty faces.

Saydee had a little run in with a bush.
Best friends, Madi and Makynlee.
